An exposure visit to Amarkhu VDC, Dhading (water and sanitation project area of NEWAH) was organized for the promotion of sanitation and hygiene practices on 30th November 2008. 50 individuals (especially women) of Pharsidole, Bung mati-9, Lalitpur participated in the visit which includes representatives from sanitation user's committee of Bungamati, local teachers and other key persons of the area. They were demonstrated with water and sanitation facilities and changing hygiene behaviour adopted by the people of Amarkhu which contributed in improving their health. The exposure visit to such an exemplary model project area, high amazed the people of Pharsidole and provided more gas to improve their quality of life through improving their sanitation and hygiene behavior.
